I have had similar experiences. I have two thermometers in my oven and they don't match what the oven says. I have to increase my oven temp to get the right temp. And things take longer to bake. I have also been told the same thing about possibly having a defective unit. Will be contacting a Samsung tech soon.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We just got another Samsung Duo...we had on in our last house, and i agree...a DiGornio pizza would NOT cook thoroughly and took at least 8 more minutes!!! Never was able to figure out why! It's not just you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have turned on only one oven and have not had any problems.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ours heat up separately
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Cougs, When the NE59J7850WG Flex Duo divider is in place, the upper and lower ovens can be programmed and used independently, so you can use just one or both at the same time. It's important to choose the appropriate oven depending on the type of food you're cooking, so consulting the User Manual may help. For example, the recommended rack position for cooking fresh pizza is the lowest setting to maximize the heat from the lower bake element, which is not available in the upper oven in twin mode. It's also advisable to pre-heat the oven first, and it isn't clear from your question whether the 30 minute cooking time included pre-heating. It's also possible that the oven thermostat may need to be adjusted, as explained on page 54 of the manual, which can be downloaded as a pdf file from Samsung's website for easy reference. I hope these suggestions help! Ms. Samsung
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yep, you should be able to cook at different temps in both sections, at the same time. Or use one and not the other.
