A:AnswerHello Pat! Broil mode is best for meats, fish, and poultry up to 1” thick. Broiling is a method of cooking tender cuts of meat by direct heat under the broil element of the oven. The high heat cooks quickly and gives a rich, brown outer appearance. To set the oven for broiling you can follow the following:
To use Twin mode, insert the partition. If you are using Single mode, skip this step. Select the broil setting you want. Press Broil once for Hi or twice for Lo. Use Lo to cook foods such as poultry or thick cuts of meat thoroughly without overbrowning
them. Press START/SET. Broil one side until the food is browned. Turn over and broil the other side. Press OFF/CLEAR once you have finished cooking or if you want to cancel broiling. -Cole
A:AnswerHi Leo,
The NE59J7850WS is designed to be installed in a standard 30" cabinet opening, so it's fine to install up against the cabinets as long as they meet standard regulations for heat resistance, as described in the installation guide that comes with the Range. These instructions can also be downloaded in advance from Samsung's website.
Thanks for your interest,
Ms. Samsung
A:AnswerIt allows the single oven to split into two ovens with the Smart Divider and use convection cooking in both ovens. Two temperature controls cook dishes simultaneously at different temperatures. ^Lena
A:AnswerLeft side controls the top only when the divider is installed between top and bottom. Without the divider it controls the entire oven. The right side is for the bottom only when the divider is installed.
A:AnswerMy recommendation is to use the lower single oven which is operated by the right side of the panel. When baking a turkey I would use the "bake" option versus the convection; however, this is just a personal choice as I prefer to slowly bake a turkey.
Yes, I would remove the dividing panel.
I hope this is helpful.
A:AnswerThe upper oven is controlled by the left side of the panel while the lower one is controlled by the right. Each side has its own off/clear button that controls each oven. For a full diagram of these controls, see page 25 of the user manual included in this link (http://bit.ly/3aG1Tvw). ^Lo

This site helps with your question. Cookware Types
We recommend using materials that conduct heat well like:
Stainless Steel
Enamelled Steel
Cast Iron
Avoid using the following types of cookware on the glass/ceramic cooktop:
Pans with grooved or warped bottoms
Very thin-gauge metal pans
Glass pans (these may scratch the surface)
Pans more than one inch smaller or larger than the heating element
Cookware with loose or broken handles
Woks with a ring-stand bottom
Round bottom woks
Rippled-bottom and/or oversized canners and griddles
Glass, ceramic, or porcelain
Copper, aluminum, or brass
A:AnswerThe top oven will do Convection Bake and Convection Roast. The Roast setting uses the broiler (top element) for sure, but I believe the Bake function uses an element housed (covered) in the rear where the fan outlet is.
A:AnswerIt's a glass cooktop, so you just want to make sure the bottom of the pan is completely flat to make good contact with the stove element. If not, it can damage it.
A:AnswerThere are 3 full racks, 2 on bottom and 1 on top. So 3 for sure. If you use the whole oven and you can add a fourth rack if you have an extra. I saved the ones out of my old oven.
