- Answer Yes it is locked to total wireless only however they are a great carrier the plans they have are awesome my family of 4 uses it and the service and savings are great. The service works with GSM or CDMA that is the one thing to look at CDMA is what we have it works anywhere Verizon works GSM is limited outside Verizon by another service.

- Answer My Galaxy A20 connects to the Total wireless phone service which piggybacks on the Verizon network so I would assume the phone will work with a Verizon service plan. When I switched from Verizon to Total wireless a few years ago to cut my bill in half I used my old Verizon phone for about a year. After that all I had to do is plug my SIM card into a new phone and it automatically switched over. Love the A20, it's not an S21 but for the price you can't beat it.
