Q: QuestionI am training for a Cyber Security position, and like to use tools such as Kali Linux. Point of this question is, do I HAVE TO set up a Cell Service, or can I just use this phone as a tool on the Internet. I am looking for a Mobile Kali Linux Carrier.

• A:Answer Not necessarily true. You can contact Total Wireless to "unlock" the phone as long as you own the device/account is in good standing. But if you are just trying to purchase the phone without setting up service with Total Wireless I don't think you can get it unlocked by them, which in that case would make the phone worthless.
