- Answer It will work with Verizon. I have Verizon and it works fine. I bought the phone straight from Best Buy unlocked and paid just for the phone and activation which will get you the sim card already.

- Answer Yes. You do have to activate the phone in store. You may be better off selling your phone, though, but I would think if both deals can be combined you would be able to get the phone for free.
