A:AnswerI have been looking to find this out myself, as Bestbuy only carries the Verizon version for some reason...
It looks like Verizon has faded out their CDMA service lines as of 2020 and their phones do support GSM cards now. However, with it being a Verizon phone they do unfortunately lock their phones for 60 days before allowing you to gain access to another carrier.
A:AnswerThe sound is not bad and the speaker is on the bottom of the phone. I am sure you can plug in a Bluetooth speaker, and that will give you an awesome sound. I believe the phone also, has a feature so, if you are hard of hearing you can set that up on the A51.
A:AnswerYes I do have a protective case for my A51. I have had several wallet covers for my older cell phones which tended to block the camera lenses when fully opened. I found the Samsung S View Wallet Cover for my A51 to be the perfect solution to counter that camera lense access inconvenience. The Samsung wallet has a window which when the wallet is closed to protect the entire phone there is a clear window over the main screen showing time, date and battery. When the wallet is fully open - i.e. wrapped around back of phone - all of the camera lenses are uncovered and you're ready to take a picture.
I also purchased a ZAGG Invisible Shield Glass + "Extreme Impact and Scratch Cover" for the Samsung Galaxy A51 for the front of my phone as an added precaution to prevent damage to the main screen. ZAGG provides a plastic fixture to fit around the main screen to insure exact placement. The Plastic fixture is removed after the Glass+ shield has been applied.
A:AnswerHusband just got this A51 he absolutely loves everything about it. He is constantly finding new features and showing me. The only thing that he has made comment about is he wished it was a bit bigger but as features go, he is very happy. And the camera is amazing if that matters !!!
A:Answerno, because this is a full display, the got rid of the notification light on the screen. I just use the function that vibrates when your phone registers that you picked it up
A:AnswerYes your # is for no uncertain terms basically your property and the Carrier cannot hold it. Doesn't matter if it's a pre or post pay almost all carriers allow ports. Of course they want your money so seems like they pretty much have too!
A:AnswerThe Galaxy A51 has a 6.5" Super AMOLED Infinity O display with an FHD+ 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a ~405 ppi density with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone itself measures 158.5 mm (6.24 in) x 73.6 mm (2.90 in) x 7.9 mm (0.31 in) and weighs 172 g (6.1 oz).
A:AnswerYes. I did not have some of the info they needed when I purchased the phone, so I bought the phone at Best Buy and then had it activated a few days later. FYI: If they have problems activating the phone, make sure they check the sim card. My phone would not activate until they switched the sim card. The online tech people told me to go to a Verizon store and have them check the sim card. They said that it happens sometimes.
A:AnswerLike all cell phones these days the screen is made of a very durable glass that won't easily break. It does not come with a protector to install on it nor is one installed already.
