• I bought the phone outright from Best Buy and they also activated it through AT&T.

• Going with AT&T end up 5 cents more with monthly plan. Getting an unlocked phone from B.B. avoids all the pre-installed apps AT&T adds in there.

• I'm sure AT&T would have charged more. I stayed away from the monthly phone plan.
