• A:Answer I'm pretty sure you have to go with the carrier that's indicated with whatever phone you buy. And you have to go with a contract, not pre-paid. But this phone is so awesome (it's the second one I've purchased of this model), I was willing to do both.

• A:Answer I'm pretty sure you can't switch carriers. I got an AT&T phone and had to go with AT&T, and you'll have to go with a contract, not prepaid.
