“Does this laptop work with an LG or an Acer monitor? I have tried all I can and can't find a straight answer online, and my settings say the PC can't project onto another screen. Does that mean it can't at all or is it a problem that I can fix?”

This computer should connect to an additional screen through the HDMI port. Some older monitors would need an adapter ($10 -$20, as I did this and it worked). Most newer monitors will be equipped with an HDMI connection.
