QuestionI see that the description says that there is a headphone/microphone jack included but it also says that it comes with a built-in microphone. Does this laptop come with an internal built-in microphone or will I have to get an external one and plug it in?

- Answer Many of the HP printers are now used through the HP app. I’m not sure how old/ new the printer is but we were able to connect our daughter to the printer through the app wirelessly. I hope this helps.

QuestionHas anyone successfully loaded linux on this PC and got it fully functional. I have an older samsung it works pretty good with linux but it backlit key controls for the keyboard do not work. Only in windows. Thanks,

- Answer I bought this computer not knowing how much of a nightmare it would be to try to get all the drivers to work with linux. I have been trying for weeks and have yet to get any distro to function properly on this computer. It seems impossible to get the wifi to work and audio drivers need to be installed manually, which I was not able to do other than with an install of Manjaro but I was never able to get the wifi adapter to function.

- Answer Yes. This laptop is a Windows laptop and has Windows 10 already installed. The Samsung aspect of this laptop has some Samsung apps pre-installed, such as Samsung Notes, Samsung Settings, Samsung Gallery, etc.

- Answer Yes, this Samsung will accept optical drives. However, depending on the drive, you may need an outside power source. The Cd/DVD reader writer I use needs two USB connections one for power and one for data transfer. Since there are two USB's on this unit you may get it to work, but I decided not to draining that much power for the system.
