“The battery life is terrible. Right out of the box and with no apps/programs open, it gives 6h and 20mins at 99%. I tried to remove unnecessary apps from start up but it did not help much. By now it reads 7h 12mins at 93%. Any ideas/suggestions?”

Improving the battery life on your Samsung PC can be achieved through a feature called Smart Battery Calibration, which helps reset the battery's performance and recalibrate its minimum and maximum charge levels. If you feel like your battery isn't lasting as long as it used to, don't worry! First, save any work and close all running applications. Next, make sure to unplug the AC adapter, as Smart Battery Calibration won't work while it is connected. After that, restart your PC and press F2 when the SAMSUNG logo appears to access the BIOS configuration. In the BIOS menu, click on "Advanced" and then double-click on "Smart Battery Calibration." The system will begin to discharge the battery, which may take up to 5 hours, depending on its capacity and remaining life. If you need to cancel the operation, simply press the ESC key. Once the battery is fully discharged, reconnect the AC adapter to charge it. You can either use your PC while it charges or leave it turned off until it reaches a full charge.
