A:Answer The case is how the ear buds charge. So once the case is charged, you can use the earbuds. For example, you use them to 50%, but them back in the case, come back tomorrow and the buds will be back at 100%. You just have to make sure the case stays charged ( there is a light indicator to let you know when the case is almost dead)
