“Most important to me is getting fast, reliable directions for driving. Someone mentioned in comments difficulty with erroneous driving directions. Is this phones GPS and driving/ map directions fast to load & reliable? Does camera take sharp photos?”

GPS and google maps seem to work fine. Doing anything else while GPS is going bogs down the phone. The camera is only 8MP, and beyond that there are some issues with the auto focus and a delay between focus and picture capturing that can be frustrating.
