Q: Can the j3 still be upgraded?
A: The 2018 model comes with Android 8.0 right out of the box. AT&T is usually one of the LAST carries to roll out updates, but the life cycle usually means it SHOULD get at least one OS update. You can expect the usual security updates to come out once every month or so. It does still come with the micro SD slot as well, for upgraded storage. Hope that helps.
