- Answer Yes, the battery is removable. The back cover is a semi-soft plastic that pops right off. The battery wasn't installed in my Perx when I received it.

- Answer Yes, it has a microSD slot for expanding the memory. Media (photos, music, etc.) and some apps may be stored on there, although many apps have to stay on the internal storage.
