• The note is a big cell phone and Internet capabilities (either data plan or wifi) the tablet won't make calls but has wifi capabilities. Other than that...screen size.

• The note has a pen functionality where the tablet does not, the note versions tend to have higher specs making them higher end tablets but the screens are different due to the pen function making them seem to me not as touch friendly.
