“What version of Android does it ship with? I've heard mixed stories about this and the latest version is 4.2.2 (as far as I know), whereas the description says it comes with 4.1. Also, is the OS upgradable? I'm new to Android and Samsung Galaxy products. Thank you in advance!”

At the time of this posting, 4.1.2 will come with the units. You can manually check for new updates, but the Android system will usually prompt you when a new update is ready for download and installation. Thanks for considering Samsung products. --Mr.Samsung
