I've been looking into sim cards, and want to know if this device is able to be used as a phone through third party sim cards like straight talk if I purchase this device from best buy. or would I need to buy a factory unlocked device or international version?”

• This tablet is wifi only. As far as I know it can't be used as a phone

• There is no slot for a sim card. It is a Wi-Fi only item.
