No, there is a smart switch app that does everything for you, pain free. Fast and easy to do

No just download the smart switch app from the play store for Samsung and it takes care of all that for you.

Depends on how Google searchy you are. I find that if you can navigate Apple's syncing and learning curve, you can probably be fine with Android. Not sure what you are trying to sync, however.
