Yes, they will charge you additional $20 line access fee for the 2-year contract price. I just upgraded mine and no one told me this... It still cheaper than the installment plan set up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Its a fact! I learned it from Verizon once after I upgraded the phone thru BestBuy, according to them line access fee with phone still under the contract is $40, compared to $20 for the out-of-contract phone line! They change the rules all the time, impossible to follow and always finding new ways of charging customers extra, and that surely adds up! I learned about it 2 weeks after upgrading the phone, and left with no option of returning it. Also, because the line access fee changed from $20 to $40 they prorated my bill on top of everything and of course $40 one-time activation fee that come regular no mater what. I have to ditch them!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you upgrade and have the new data plan then its $40 line access fee if you do two year upgrade. If you do device payment it is a $20 line access fee.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was told that the 20$ is for the unlimited text and talk if you go to Verizon site it does the same thing .. That's why I've debated leaving prepaid and going back to Verizon
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've been told, if you upgrade a phone that is out of contract and upgrade to a phone putting you back into a 2 year contract then you will pay a $20.00 access fee until the 2 year contract on that phone id up. Hope this helps.
