• A:Answer Yes! if your phone is eligible for their trade-in program. I tried my mine which is Galaxy S7 but I will only get 150$ trade-in deal for my phone so I just keep my phone. Trade-in deal is so low.

Q: QuestionDoes the unlocked version work for CDMA networks like Sprint? Saw in the features where SPRINT was included but most features are posted for the Note 8 itself and not carrier specific.

• A:Answer I'm a Sprint customer, I have the phone, and I can tell you it works with Sprint. However, I do not get all the features such as visual voicemail nor Calling Plus (no call and data at same time); there is one feature that works and that's Wi-Fi Calling. As for LTE, it has LTE carrier aggregation, and it does display LTE+ in the status bar. The speed depends on the time of day. I'm able to get 90 Mbps late at night.

• A:Answer I had called Samsung and asked the same thing, this offer is available by Samsung so no matter where you purchase it and if its locked/unlocked, you will receive the bundle as long as its purchased within the time frame..And I believe you have to purchase the phone by 9/24.....If you look at Best Buy's free offer guidelines, it does confirm what I said.

• A:Answer Universal Unlocked phones have limitations that differ from carrier to carrier. For example, with AT&T, my unlocked Galaxy Note 8 will not work with Voice over LTE, does not integrate automatically with visual voice mail (visual voicemail is a separate app instead of integrated), and does not support calls over WiFi. That being said, I am happy that I can change to Verizon at any time. I recommend Universal Unlocked phones if you are willing to live with the limitations and want carrier portability.
