• Yes there is, you can't pay up before the 24 months because the cost of the phone is subsidized by Sprint through 24 equal discounts applied to your monthly bill.

• No not at all you just have to pay it one time on the bill then you can pay it off immediately after. So just wait until the first month hill cycle.
