The charge was $18 per phone. If you do not have a smart phone and are moving up to one, you have to get a data plan.

If you are on Sprint it is always $36, Verizon it is $30 to upgrade, and AT&T & T-Mobile is $18 as an upgrade, and $36 with new lines and added lines.
