• I ordered my S20+ from Samsung, Verizon as Carrier. Yes it does have room for the SD Card. You can check the specs, but you can expand up to 1TB I believe.

• I was advised that if you are with Verizon the S20 phones do not have room for a SD card because Verizon needed more room for something called wave technology. However, I have the S8 with 64GB memory which took 3 years to fill and I take pictures of everything. The S20 series comes with double the storage 128GB without the SD card.
