- Answer Yes, it has built in GPS. It works fine with smart home tech--I use it with Google smart home tech, various smart plugs and switches, and my TV.

- Answer I would think that you can since T-Mobile and Sprint have merged. I am sure that a person at Best Buy could give you a definitive answer, so I would suggest calling your local store. I love my new phone thus far. FYI, I got Sprint to waive the activation fee!
