when you add the phone to your cart and select the upgrade option the fine print at the bottom of the sign in page states....... "Those customers Upgrading with a 2-Yr contract who have an Unlimited Data package will be enrolled in the Verizon 2GB Data Plan for that line for $30/month. If you complete this transaction, Unlimited Data cannot be returned to your line of service."
Not if you select the upgrade option. You will log into you cell phone account and select the phone line you want to upgrade. You will pay the $40 and tax on the phone is paid to best buy.
As I read the fine print, it looks like you lose your unlimited plan and revert back to a 2GB plan. What that would mean for me is, I would be paying the same for 2 GB as I am for unlimited.
