Yes, it is compatible with S pen. I tried it with my Galaxy Note 10's S pen before the trade-in and it work just as it did with the Note 10. I was asked if I wanted to buy a Pen with the phone, but it is extra. Amazon has a few cases that will hold the S pen, but the phone itself does not have a place to carry the S pen.
