• Yes. I've purchased several Verizon serviced phones at Best Buy and they are working before I leave.

• Yes, as long as your old device is paid off enough for them to classify you your number as "upgrade eligible. I personally have mixed feelings and experiences with Verizon, but kinda feel stuck with them.

• Yes. It needs to be activated when purchased. I bought mine in store and they did everything. Only took a few minutes to activate. Another phone is required to activate it.
