• You do not have to go to the Verizon store. Best buy does it all with well trained salespeople. They usually have better prices than Verizon and offer gift cards too.

• Store associates will get you setup at the time of purchase. Bring your old phone to transfer data and also have your current account # and information available if you plan to port your phone number to the new phone.

• Best buy will handle trade in and activate it for you they have access to your carrier's computer system.

• No you do not have to take it the verizon store, the verizon sales associate will do everything for you in the store. you can trade your phone right in the store at the time of the new phone purchase.

• No special trip to Verizon needed. I owned my previous phone outright so I did not trade it in. With a very conscientious sales associate my purchase, activate experience was about 40 minutes (would have been longer if I would have waited for FULLY charged phone out the door) Quick charger is amazing!

• No, they can activate right there in the store. I was also able to trade in my old phone. I kept mine so I could make sure I had everything transferred and also wanted to clear all my data. They said I could bring it in at any time.
