“Is the Tab3 8GB capable of getting Updates to the latest Android version? I thought I read somewhere that some tablets were not capable of accepting the latest version of Android, that now has the ability to create User Profiles for a tablet that different family members share. Can this one be updated, assuming there is a valid WIFI connection ?? Thanks”

To an extent, yes. Since I bought it 2 months ago it has gone from Jellybean 4.2 to 4.2.2. It always takes companies time to adapt the latest version of Android to their systems, so I'll have to wait a bit to see if they incorporate 4.3 or 4.4. However 4.2 works great; it's a very powerful version of Android and easy to use.
