“Can you project on HDTV? Many tablets do not have a true HDMI output (mainly because of room limitations). However, one can use an MHL to HDMI adaptor, which plugs into the mini USB (charge/link) port and mirror to a TV set. My question is, does this tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 SM-T230NZWAXAR) support this approach? If not, how could I project to a TV set? I purchased the above mentioned adaptor and it did not work...”

• It works with chromecast, with takes away the hassle of using an hdmi. All you need to do is buy chromecast, and plug it into your tv. You then download the free app on your tablet, install it (takes less then a minute) and you are set. I use it with youtube and netflix among others.

• I purchased a mini hdmi to hdmi adapter to go into the port at the bottom of the tablet. The cost was about 50 dollars and it works fine.

• Yes you can purchase micro usb to hdmi adapter or like me, I have chromecast & I can mirror what ever I am doing on my tablet to my big screen tv.

• Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 : NOT MHL COMPATIBLE No Tab 4 are compatible. WiFi is you best bet.
