As far as your second question goes, about the notifications for your emails, I'm not sure if this will be helpful to you, but I just experienced the same problem with my Samsung Note 4 cell phone, where I wasn't getting notification tones for anything...my texts, emails, etc. I finally called my service provider, Verizon. We were on the phone for over an hour, and the technician was just about stumped when she decided to update all of the apps on my phone. After she did this, all of my notification tones began working again!! Hope this will work for you.
