• A:Answer this is a question that needs to be asked by a best buy geek or a Verizon rep, not a person who bought this, as we do not know their policy. as per a Samsung tablet, I was back to best buy 9 times in 2 months as it was a piece of useless junk. they finally replaced it and the new one also has issues. I will never buy another Samsung device again

• A:Answer Yes. I recently used mine in England and Canada. I used wifi whenever possible but I used my Verizon data when wifi wasn't available. Just be sure to contact Verizon and tell them you'll be abroad so they can set you up with an international plan while you travel.
