• As far as I know, it can, but I haven't tried yet. I have no idea how many it can store, but it will accept up to a 64GB micro-SD auxiliary memory card, so it should be able to store well over one thousand on a card that size. Of course, you would probably need to register the device with Adobe in order to read some E-pub books.

• I am sure it will but have never tried it, and since you can add inexpensive SD memory anytime VERY easily yourself, it's a big advantage. Plus the USB 3.0 port makes it as useful as a notebook at a fraction of the cost.
