- Answer Yes, you can watch movies on this even though it is wi-fi only. There are other models that are tied to a cell provider, however, if that is what you need.

- Answer Yes. You just need to download the Kindle App on the playstore and have an account. Its free! I'm not sure about the different color highlights but I know you can highlight.
