I think you would need to do it all over again. You can't combine protection plans as it's tied to a specific item and not a blanket of items. Now, if your S6 was somehow damaged, you could then invoke your plan and instead of them replacing your S6, you could have them credit you the amount you paid for the S6 to apply it to buying an S7+ and THEN add a new plan on that.
