- Answer I don't think so. Mine it's stuck with 5.1. As Samsung it's not producing it anymore they won't make big efforts or any effort to build upgrades on the OS. But even so you can have a good couple of years of good use and apps running fine.

QuestionHow much heat does this give off? i'm probably being paranoid, but I've lost two devices to excessive heat. I currently use a cooling pad for my laptop, but that would not be practical for this.

- Answer I use mine everyday and can't say I ever noticed any heat coming from it. I have been using it since these came out.

- Answer The tablet only has 2 ports. One is for speakers or headphones and the other is a micro usb. It also has a slot for a micro sd card. Nothing for CD's

- Answer Yes this is a 100% Functional tablet, however you do have to use WiFi there is no built in phone circuit.

- Answer You can install Amazon apps from the play store, if you want to install Amazon underground (free stuff), need to enable download from unauthorized sources in security settings.
