Yes. I have had good success with this watch in water. I went tubing down the Sugar river, played in Lake Michigan and have even worn it in the pool. It has a waterproof feature to turn on before going in water and then you turn it off after you are done. No problems yet.

It is not intended for scuba diving. Avoid excessive, sudden temperature changes and high-velocity activities. Rinse in fresh water/dry after use in sea water or chlorinated water. ^Elizabeth
