It's not even close to being waterproof. The manual says it is able to be worn in the shower, rain, swimming (certain depths), etc., but that's not true. I had mine for maybe 2 months and the screen stopped working. Sent it in for a warranty claim only to be told it has water damage which isn't covered under warranty. I never went swimming or had it submerged in any type of water or liquid besides showering with it on occasionally. I was told by Samsung customer service that water and sweat can penetrate the watch and void the warranty. Really, Samsung??? Sweat?? Why call it an ACTIVE 2 if you can't do any activities while wearing it? $200 down the drain. STAY AWAY FROM THIS WATCH.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it is water resistant, and even then that is limited - but the warranty is voided by exposure to moisture or liquid.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That is a great question, Tish! The Galaxy Watch Active2 is a water resistant device based on the 5ATM rating, which means submersion up to 50 meters per ISO standard 22810:2010. Thank you for taking the time to ask this question. ^Kayla
