- Answer Not necessarily. I have a Samsung s10 phone and I don't even use that Samsung messages app. I use Google messages I'm able to still receive notifications and make replies through my watch.

QuestionI purchased the Galaxy smartwatch as a gift for my sister bday. She has TMobile as a carrier, and now that we are trying to connect the watch with the phone TMobile is telling us that the watch has only Bluetooth, but she need LTE SERVICE. Can you help?
