Why can I not pre-order this null

I believe it is available in stores today, August 6th, and you can order the item.

You cant pre order because its available as of today. August 6th. I just picked one up from my Local Best Buy.

Because you can buy it right now. Do you pre-order milk from your grocer, or do you just go and get it?
