Hello Carol, LTE means, you can contact your cell carrier, and activate an LTE smartwatch, so you don't need to carry your cell phone. The watch will "share" your phones phone number. My cell carrier is Xfinity, and they charge $10 a month to activate a LTE smart watch. Hope this helps!
