• First thing to do is look up the samsung gear fit on Bestbuy.com and look at the compatible devices. It lists it under the specs and features. The other thing is I believe there is an app you can download to make it compatible if it is not already.

• No...you can only use the Samsung Gear Fit with Samsung products. Specifically it must an S3 or higher phone, laptop (blue tooth), and the new tablets. Each of these products must have the Gear Fit Manager installed on it. If you do not have this, it will not work. You will not even be able to use it as a watch since it syncs with one of the devices mentioned above.
