It shows your journey on the device, just like a regular gps, you can see where you are going.

It shows you the route you are taking, like a little map tracking where you're going.

The GPS will give you directions and shows your positioning on map.

Track your walk, run, hike...possibly even locating it if you loose it on a trail or something
