• Yes, the band has a release button underneath. I haven't seen alternative bands for it yet but in the past they have offered other bands for sale even some really pretty ones with crystals

• Yes the bands are changeable and the releasing mechanism looks similar to the band for gear s2. Somebody please confirm whether the bands for gear s2 will work for gear fit 2 also.

• Yes, the bands are changeable. There are several colors and types available on Amazon. Just use the following phrase in the search bar.... "samsung gear fit 2 band replacement"
