• I bought one for the wife and one for myself, but I have had 2 different experiences as well. I bought mine because I wanted the music capability for working out without a media device in my pocket. I turned about 90% of my notifications off and adjusted the brightness 7, screen time out 15 sec, and chose not to have the watch 'on' all the time under display. It lasts 1 1/2 to 2 days with 2 hours recording the workout and playing music simultaneously. The wife's watch on the other hand doesn't last a day most times and she doesn't play music like I do during workout. So adjusting the settings to optimize battery life can be done and it really doesn't hinder the quality of the watch functions.
