• Yes, it connects via Bluetooth/ wifi. This version is better because it has a built in speaker unlike the non-cellular version. Speaker is a must have! I enjoy using this whilre driving my car with Bluetooth synced to my phone.

• Verizon is CDMA and other carriers like att and the t-mobile are GSM. It will likely not work on non CDMA carriers.

• No because the Sim card is not replaceable which is what selects the service provider. However it can still work as a blue tooth mode.
