I love my watch! I wear it daily and my only complaints are Samsung Pay (which was advertised as being compatible with gear s2) is not available. The battery doesn't last as long as I expected. I usually get about 36 hours or less depending on use and The S voice to respond to text messaging is horrible. Often times it doesn't work

I bought this to replace my original watch that I accidentally lost at the movies. (Don't do that... it's an expensive lesson to learn!) I have been very happy with both watches. They are capable of doing so many more things than I am but I'm learning as I go. I especially like being notified of who is sending me a message without going to my phone and also keeping track of steps, heartrate etc.

I love it for the most part. I do wish that it had a few more options for apps but I love that if I need to charge my phone (which happens quite often being up from 7am to midnight or later) I can still make calls and texts without having to stay where my phone is which isn't possible sometimes. I have taken it in the pool and it survived no problem. It sometimes irritates my skin when its hot out but that is probably just my sensitive skin.

Good watch /phone,
Has a great speaker, great hardware but lacks on 2 basic principles:
1. Battery life: it can barely get through a full day, after owning a pebble watch it has been difficult to adjust to the daily routine of charging, a fast charge should have been introduced to this model.
2. Tinzen software lack of apps: Tinzen is the native os system and is pretty clean but lacks variety and substance. Please note that android wear is also an option but I have yet to qualify it.

I like this watch because it doesnt look like a "smartwatch"... you know Bulky and big and square. But i do wish there is more apps available. Hopefully more apps will be developed for the gear s2.

I hadn’t worn a wrist watch in over 15 years due to CTS on both wrists. When I saw & read the features I had to get it. I own a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge which works extremely well with my Gear S2. I can easily customize my Gear S2 & is user friendly. It is not heavy on the wrist. I purchased different bands to match my outfits from Amaz**. It is easy to change the bands. Battery life will vary. If you don't get alot of emails and text messages the battery life will last all day. If you do, the battery life will last about 4-5 hours. I also purchased from Amaz** 3 more chargers (for work, home & car). It charges rather quickly. I like the fact I don't have to have my cell phone on me or near me for the Gear S2 to function. Only regret, I wish I got the white one. I get many compliments.

Perfect companion to my Samsung S6+ Edge cellphone. Great for not only making and receiving telephone calls forwarded from my cellphone, but also for being notified about email messages. Excellent for keeping track of my movements that are linked to S Health on my phone. I am very pleased with its capabilities and compactness! Battery lasts all day and charges quickly.

Watch is good, love all the buttons and functions. I especially love that I don't always have to have my phone with me, because of call forwarding. The negative aspect is the battery life.

This is my first "smart" watch. It took some time for me to get it set up and get the hang of using it but then again I'm not 6 any more and naturally adept with modern technology. That said, once I got into the swing of it the watch proved relatively intuitive and became easier to use. I do like that it cane be used to send and receive messages of all kinds even if you happen to leave your phone behind. Now I only feel half naked if I forget my cell phone. If I do have my phone with me I turn off the notification feature as this watch tends to eat battery life like a hungry zombie. Overall a good buy for me.

It's a great watch with it's own "dedicated number", but I call forwarded my cell phone to it and now get calls from both. I also ported over my magic jack number thru Verizon and my personal "contact information" did not change. The best part is I don't have to physically carry my cell phone everywhere anymore. (oops... I left my cell at home... no problem receiving my calls)
I gave it only 4 starts (-1) because the battery life is not as advertised. I get a full 12 hour day with about an hour of calls but that will drain the battery to 20% or less.

I have used this watch now more than 30 days since the purchase. I have a older model of this watch that I still use at night. This is for two reasons. The first the battery life is the biggest problem. The second is the sleep application. I am a huge imsonniac and knowing the amount of sleep is a huge importance. As far as the use as a phone I am very pleased with it. Getting from one app to another is also quite a chore with out the assistance and explanation on the short cuts. I would like a good help manual to go along with the watch.

I have tried Moto 360 and Asus Zenwatch only to be disappointed. I found that installing Android Wear allows me to reply to Hangout messages from the watch. S Voice is mediocre. Love that it is on Verizon.

Made the mistake of buying this sight unseen for the most part. Hardware is GREAT. Everything is smooth and the rotating bezel works great. Remote connection over 3g worked perfect. BUT! Noooooo apps. I was astounded at the lack of support. No Pandora. No Google Now. No Gmail. No automated home control. Unless you need only basic functionality or are invested in the few Tizen apps this watch offers, it isnt worth it. Returned for refund to go with the competition.

This is a very nicely designed product with limited apps available. What it does it does well but it does not do much.
If you happen to own a Toyota or Lexus with an Entune system be warned the gear software for the watch will cause conflict with the Entune system.

It reminds me to get off my butt and walk around, it keeps track of the amount of time that I exercise each day, how far I go, where I went, my heartrate, and other interesting details. It forwards calls and texts to me, and I can dial out and make calls when I am bicycling and do not have my cellphone with me. It is not as accurate as some other wearables, but I do like the calling and texting capabilities!

Initially I loved this watch. I loved how I could check my texts and see my calls discretely while in class or at work. However the battery life needs to be extended. It only lasts about a full day at best. Another downside is that the Samsung Appstore doesn't have very many useful apps for the watch. I'd be willing to trade less apps for better battery though.
