A:AnswerYes, you can put one picture or a slide show of several pictures on your watch. Or several slides shows, and easily switch from one to the other.
A:AnswerI'm not sure what you mean by needing size 42mm. Do you mean for a watch band you already own, or something else? If it's just about wearing it, you'll never notice a 1mm difference. It's quite a bit different from the Apple watch. There's square vs round to start with. There aren't going to be as many apps available for the Gear as there are for the Apple. However, the Gear can be used with both Apple and Android phones, where the Apple watch can only be used with Apple.
Since the Gear Sport does NOT have any type of cellular connection capability (the Gear Frontier and Gear Classic have that option), it doesn't matter who the carrier is. If you have a phone with Android or iOS and a bluetooth connection, the Gear Sport will work with it.
A:AnswerYes, however not ready for release since when you enter calories from the watch it syncs them over to S-Health for the following next day therefore all your calorie tracking from this watch is useless. I've reported it since day one and Samsung's customer care is ridiculous they don't even know their product. Also the Calorie widget that shows on their website for gaging how well you are staying within your limit throughout the day does not even exist on the watch though they show it on their website. Don't waste your money yet until they fix the watch and make it work as advertised. Very disappointed, I was so looking forward to this watch! =(
A:AnswerIt does have a continuous heart rate option. On continuous when you go to your heart rate it should always say Now on the latest reading. None truly record an infinite number of heart rate data points. They may say continuous but with digital it just means really short intervals. As for how long the intervals are compared to Fitbit I would only be guessing but on continuous you get a graph of your heart rate like Fitbit.
A:Answerthis device does not have the capability to answer calls. It can only connect to your phone to let you know you have a call. Get a newer version Gear watch. I upgraded to the Gear S watch and it does allow you to answer calls.
A:AnswerI can't be 100% certain but I have a mild contact allergy to nickel and haven't had a reaction to it yet. I've had the watch for about a month now. the back is plastic and the body and bezel of the watch appear to be aluminum.
A:AnswerHi Tor,
I also have the S10+, I would highly recommend the Samsung gear sport smartwatch SM-R600. It's not just a sports watch, it does everything an apple watch does and more.
A:Answeryes you can buy watch bands directly on the samsung store or basically anywhere that sells watch bands. I got a rainbow nylon material band for mine that is much more comfortable than the original rubber band.
