• I did not have to sign for mine. The package was left by my door.

• No it comes with the phone and when you get it all you have to do is put the phone in, (if you don't have and an oculus account make one) download the oculus stuff required to run the software, and use it.

• I believe u have to sign for anything over a certain price I had to sign for my s7, that being said I ordered from Verizon not bestbuy, in regards to the other answer the asker didn't say they were getting an s8. The new VR is compatible with older models.
